Managing Attorney

Aeri represents parents of children with special needs in impartial hearings and federal court.  She is available to accompany parents to IEP meetings, consultations, and workshops. Prior to joining the Law Office of Elisa Hyman, Aeri was Of Counsel to Friedman & Moses, LLP, where she practiced special education law. 

Aeri has varied and extensive experience advocating on behalf of students with special education needs. 

Aeri holds a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Michigan and a J.D. from the Cornell Law School. She is admitted to practice in New York, the Southern District of New York, and the Eastern District of New York.
